The Uniqueness of a Vision Board

I’ve been wanting to share this with you for a little while..

This was my dream board for this year. In January Mason and I cut out pictures from magazines with friends and family of images that we were deeply drawn to. I cut out many pictures of big homes and vacation hot spots, business ideas etc, but this is what I glued on my poster board- this is my heart.

Of course, you’ll see food on there 😜 florals, hats, and quotes. They all come together to form what I really desire and feel is happening on my insides.. growth.

The butterflies symbolize the changes happening in me, metamorphosis. The fruit is the fruit of the spirit I am becoming. Family roots to dig deep into, and a greenhouse in the desert- even in the toughest conditions I am a shelter that harbors growth... and I am growing into a posture of artful giving. Intentional giving.

I share this because I want you to know that your walk doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s. Dream boards mean different things for different people. It’s never been about things for me, always about becoming. It doesn’t have to be about becoming for you, it could be about things. Do not be afraid to bare your heart because when you strip away the dishonesty to others, they themselves may become free by your example.

Dream BIG, and unafraid.
